Sept 85 - Aqualift
commenced operations in South-East Queensland as a commercial
diving contractor specialising in marine salvage.
June 93 - Developed tank cleaning for local
government using divers, then expanded rapidly into NSW.
1994 - Incorporated
full video and specialist inspection services.
1995 - Commenced
operations in Victoria. Other general diving work phased out
and dedicated solely to potable water.... ...Presented our
own technical paper at WITA, Stanthorpe on reservoir design.
Many of these features are now included in new construction
across Australia.
1996 - Sydney Water
conducted trials and produced a marketing video to sell the
Aqualift concept within their own organisation.
1997 - South Australia included in travelling itinerary. Won a three
year schedule of rates contract with Sydney Water to clean
and inspect their 250+ service reservoirs.
1998 - Formed
a second traveling dive team to service the growing demand.
1999 - Commissioned
the development of ASAM, a reservoir information and maintenance
database that will standardise water industry management practices.
2000 - ASAM was used exclusively to provide client reports and the
AaSIS Inspection system is created and formalised.
2001 – ASAM Live was launched on a web based server to provide inspection
information directly to clients. Sydney Water award a service
contract for ASAM to manage their 280+ reservoir assets.
2002 – Commenced retailing and installing
Nextep FRP ladders. Developed HDPE Outlet screens and Directional
nozzles to improve safety and water quality. Dive teams are
trained in Industrial abseiling and Tower rescue techniques
to improve safety and provide greater access for inspection
procedures.
2003 – Produced our ‘Risk Management’
CD to improve client awareness of safety issues. ASAM Live
incorporates a ‘Corrective Action’ register for
clients to use on-line to control their maintenance schedules.
Commenced a large scale asset inspection project for South
Australian Water to ‘populate’ their 400+ tanks
onto ASAM over a five year period.
2004 – Developed ‘ASAM Aqueducts’ for Sydney
Water to expand their asset management into efficient pipeline
inspections. Created a Benchmarking system of data analysis
and an additional software program, ‘ASAM Overview’
to provide graphical interpretation of inspection results.
Developed the ‘Titan Arm’ to compliment our FRP
ladder installations into confined spaces.
2005 - An alliance has been created between DBS and Nextep – Aqualift Pacific P/L will combine our innovative services and experience with fresh management ideas and a manufacturing base - this forms part of a long-term succession plan to maintain our intellectual property and diving processes.
Our new HDPE and Stainless Steel products include – the RAMTUBE to efficiently blend inlet water and a Two Way Directional nozzle for common inlet outlet configurations.
